Adam Chamera (was born 1936) - he graduated from PWSM in Sopot at E. Piotrowicz double-bass class in 1962. He started his teaching career at music schools in 1955 year. He has been leading the double—bass class in Academy of Music in Gdansk since 1971. From 1964 to 1999 he worked as a doublebass player in the following orchestras: POiFB in Gdansk, Music Theater in Gdynia and as principal of double-bass group in Polska Filharmonia Baltycka. He took part in many TV and Radio recordings with the PFB and Polska Orkiestra Kameralna of W. Rajski. He was often invited as a jury of National Audition Polish Students (Vc. and db.) in Elblag and Regional Competition in Rzeszow. He was a participant for the First Polish Double-Bass Simphosium in Wroclaw in 1974.
