Born in 1929 Loek van Hall studied at the Conservatorium in Amsterdam and Akademie fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna under J. Reuling, J. Van Gellekom, C. Duets and ]. Krurnp. He used to be a member of Barbarants Orchestra, Hague Philharmonic Orchestra, Hague Roman Rubato, Chambermusicorchestre Rapael Quintet, Leopold Mozart Trio and Chamber Music Orchestra The Hague Players. After an incurable neurological disease he was forced to stop playing and to get back to study another profession: Developing Projects for Mentally Retarded people. He reached the position as the Secretary General of the lntemational Sport Federation for Mentally Handicapped, working in Poland, West and Central Africa as well as in India For his work in Poland ho was awarded by Aleksander Kwaśniewski, the President of the Republic of Poland.
