Dido Keuning studied at the Sweelinck Conservatory of Amsterdam and continued its training with renown teachers as Naum Grubert, Youri Egorov and Georgy Sebök. He performed as soloist with several ensembles and orchestras and is now much sought-after as a chamber musician and accompanist. As such he has acted with a lot of well-known instrumentalists and singers in Europe, in the Middle East, North- and South America and the Far East, and performed as accompanist
at several competitions, such as the Flesh competition in London, the IVC in Den Bosch, the Tchaikovsky concours in Moscow, the ARD in Munich,etc. He is teaching piano and accompaniment in different countries i.e. in France where he teaches on regular masterclasses (Bordeaux) and gave concerts, in Japan he works on a regular basis in Osaka and Tokyo, where he also gave concerts as duo partner and in chamber music. Furthermore he made - besides radiorecordings- several CD’s in the Netherlands, France,Japan and the USA. In 1987 he won the “vriendenkrans van de ver. Vrienden van het Concertgebouw”. Since 1989 he is teacher and head of the accompany-department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam and is in charge of the Bachelor Lied Class .
