Began his musical studies at State Conservatory in Wroclaw in 1972. In the same year he moved to Moscow and took up studies at Peter Tschaykovsky Conservatory with which he was related until 1982 when he completed assistant internship. He worked in Wroclaw Philharmony and State Conservatory in Wroclaw. In 1979-80 he performed duties of concertmaster in Opera of Wroclaw. In November 1982 he started to work at Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw and was also one of initiators of Leopoldinum - Wroclaw Chamber Orchestra. He realised a large number of records for Polish Radio. In 2000 he started didactic work at K. and G. Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. In December 2002 he was conferred a title of professor of music arts. Since 2008 has been appointed as the fullprofessor at Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.
