Marek Werpulewski graduated from Academy of Music in Wrocław where he studied under Prof. Włodzimierz Obidowicz. He is professor at Chamber Music Faculty at this academy. He took part in many master classes as the accompanist with such a distinguished persons as Julius Baker and James Galway (flute), Guy Dangain and Mieczysław Stachura (clarinet), Lawrence Gwozdz and Christian Wirth (saxophone), Irena Olkiewicz, Klaus Trumpf, Gottfried Engels, Miloslav Gajdos and Radoslav Sasina (double-bass). He was also piano-accompanist at 5-th and 6-th International Double-Bass Master classes in Wrocław and Wojnowice (2000, 2001) and festival for clarinette and saxophone players „Clarimania”. He collaborates with Wrocław Philharmonic and Down Silesia Army Orchestra. He won the distinctive prize as accompanist in Włoszakowice, Olsztyn and Szczecinek. He runs extensively his solo and chamber career having played in London, Prague, Budapest and Vilnus. He made many recordings for Polish Radio in Wrocław.
