Graduate Academy of Music in Poznań, and now is also a lecturer at that university. The main scope of his artistic activity is associated with jazz music. He made his debut (with Krzesimir Dębski, Zbigniew Wrombel and Bohdan armołowicz) in „Warsztat” group, winning awards at polish „Jazz nad Odrą” festivals (1975-77). Krzysztof Przybyłowicz is the winner of the 5-de Internationaal Festival voor Jongerenorkesten contest (Hoeillart, Belgium), H. Wyspiański Prize of Young Art, Jazz Forum magazine awards, and prize of the Polish Association of Jazz Publicists.

Krzysztof Przybyłowicz gained the greatest popularity in String Connection group, although he never aversed to work with other bands and artists (bands: „Sami Swoi”, Alex Band, S. Kulpowicz’s „In-Formation” and „Samarpan”, Polish Radio and TV Orchestra and Vintage Band among others; solo jazz performers - such as Zbigniew Namysłowski, Henryk Miśkiewicz, Maciej Sikała, Andrzej Jagodziński, Wojciech Karolak, Jarosław Śmietana, Adam Wendt, Janusz Skowron, Sławomir Kulpowicz, Wojciech Karolak, Krzysztof Ścierański, Andrzej Olejniczak, Michał Urbaniak, John Hicks, Horace Parlan, Doug Cameron; singers: Ewa Bem, Deborah Brown, Hanna Banaszak, Urszula Dudziak, Anna Maria Jopek, Anna Jurksztowicz, Ryszard Rynkowski).

Krzysztof Przybyłowicz is one of the most interesting and most versatile drummers, he’s often involved as a session musician in many projects, both realized for recording labels and movie industry. An important project in his artistic career was the „Percussion Project”, and a joint project with american violininst John Blake.

An active educational and journalistic activity is also an important part of his work. He is a lecturer at the Music Academy in Poznan, and the founder of the Department of Jazz and Popular Music at that university, teaches music in many workshops, including International Jazz Workshops (Chodzież), Percussion Forum (Żagań), European Jazz School (Hesse). For 17 years, publishes a popular monthly articles and workshops in „MUZYK FCM” magazine.
