Teresa Worońko graduated piano studies from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław with Professor Grzegorz Kurzyński and Senior Lecturer Witold Witkowski, and chamber music performance with doc. Urszula Krysta. She did her 1st tier qualification at the chamber piano music in 1990 at the Krakow Music Academy.

Since 1982 she has worked at the K. Lipiński Academy of Music at the Instrumental Faculty. For long time she worked with a flute class of Professor Jerzy Mrozik and with a double bass class of Professor Tadeusz Górny. Now she works with double bassists – Professor Miloslav Jelínek and dr Paweł Jabłczyński. She has also been employed at the Secondary Music School in Wrocław.

She participated in many instrumental competitions, concerts, recitals, national and international master classes: The Flute Competition in Włoszakowice (1991), Kraków (1995), Warszawa (2001, 2004), Wrocław (2007), the International Vocal Competition in Gdańsk (1993), the Cello and Double Bass Competition in Poznań, the Academic Double Bass Competition in Łódź (2006, 2008), the 3rd World Bass Festival in Wrocław (2008). She was given several distinctions as a pianist, for instance at the Double Bass Competition in Łódź (2009) .

T. Worońko has worked with outstanding soloists, such as: T. Górny, B. Makal, M. Stachura, B. Goldberg and G. Karr from USA, J. Balint from Hungary, F. Catalini from Italy, G. Engels from Germany and N. Nastasi from Netherlands.

She participated in master classes in Poland and abroad held by great artists and tutors, such as: T. Górny, G. Karr, G. Engels – double bass, and J. Balint, N. Nastasi – flute.

She has given concerts in Poland and abroad, and made CD recording for the BEVIER Misikverlung GmbH with double bassist – T. Górny, for the Polish Radio in Katowice and Wrocław, and also for the televison in Wrocław and Warsaw.

From the Pope John Paul II she received one of the greatest distinctions – The Cross “Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice “.
