The band plays mostly their own compositions (written mainly by Piotr Dziubek), based on the unique blend of the sound of accordion and various guitars. The members of the band have given many performances both in Poland (all the biggest jazz festivals like: Jazz Jamboree, Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Jazz Over Odra River and others) and abroad (concerts in Germany, Holland, France, Italy, etc.) The first album of Piotr Dziubek Band called “Tchne” was realeased in 2002 and was very warmly received by both the listeners and musical critics.
This recording brings together the classical form and instrumentation, and the freedom of improvising characteristic for jazz, which leaves space for individual interpretations of the performers.
