made his debut in 1975 by Domenico Dragonetti Concerto A-Major with Bialystok Pholharmonic Orchestra. In 1978 he started to collaborate with Warsaw Chamber Opera, the Warsaw Sinfonietta and Collegium Musicum.
As a member of the Chamber Ensemble of the National Philharmonic led by Karol Teutsch he has performed throughout Europe and in both Americas, including concerts in Paris /Salle Pleyel/, Rome /Santa Cecilia/, Vienna /Musikverein/, Copenhagen /Tivoli/, New York /Carnegie Hall/, Marselie, Naples, Milan, Frankfurt, Bergen, Chicago, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Bogota, Caracas.
In the years 1984 -1985 he served as principal bass - player of the Polish Chamber Orchestra conducted by Jerzy Maksymiuk made numerous recordings with that orchestra and the performed extensively in Poland and abroad incl. Concerts in New York, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, London, Praque, Colon, Milan and Paris Andrzej Kaczanowski was cofounder of the Camerata Vistula Ensemble established in 1986.
He has taken part in festivals in Glasgow 1986, Berlin 1990 1992, as well as in contemporary music festivals in Warsaw Autumn, Wrocław Music Festival and Białystok Music Festival, where he performed the works of leading polish composers which were dedicated to him.
In the years 1991-1996 he led of double-bass master class in Josef Elsner Music School in Warsaw. He was nominated to Fryderyk ’96 prize for recorded A. Dvorak and F. Schubert’s quintetts.
In 1997 was cooproduced concert for opening new Bogusławski Concert Hall in National Theater in Warsaw performed F. Schubertr’s quintet “the Trout” and next was gone to the artistic trip to South Korea as a leader and choef d’orchestra. In 1998 he has performed solo recitals, concerts and recorded CD’s “Master of chamber music” serie. In 1999, with Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, was premier performed concerto by Emil Tabakov. Since 2000 he organized series chamber concerts “Interpretations” and “Portrait with music”
In 2004 he recorded “Fantasia Con tra Basso” CD, and made recitals in Poland and other countries cooperated with Polish Cultural Institutes. During all career Andrzej Kaczanowski was cooperated with musicians and conductors exmpl. Claudio Abbado, Marek Drewnowski, Ruggiero Gerlin, Jacek Kspszyk, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Janusz Olejniczak, Henryk Szeryng.
