Cellist Konrad Górka graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow as well as the Musikhochschule in Wurzburg. His passion has been chamber music as well as historical string instruments. He has performed as soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe, the U.S. and Japan. He has become a specialist in the performance of ancient music. He performs regularly on baroque cello and as the only Polish musician who plays on the five-stringed cello piccolo. He cooperates with numerous ensembles performing on both modern and ancient intruments. Since 1988 he has been first cellist in the Chamber Orchestra "Capella Cracoviensis".
