One of the Polish bass players performing solo and chamber music. He graduated with o distinction from the State 1st and 2nd level of the Fryderyk Chopin School of Music in Bytom. His professor was prof. Gerard Przybyla. Later he studied with prof. TadeuszPelczar and prof. Andrzej Mysinski in the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw.
He was a prize-winner in national double bass and chamber music competitions in Elblag, Wroclaw, Warsaw and others. He also received the 1st mention in the V. Bucchi Double Bass Competition in Roma 1993.He began his solo bassist career in 1988, touring Spain with the Polish Youth Symphony Orchestra of Bytom and appearing as a soloist in more than 20 cites, incl. a concert in Palau de Music in Valencia during the European Festival of Orchestras and Soloist. During his studies and in the later period, he performed solo at concerts in the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Grand Canaria, Korea and Japan. He also played with such chamber ensembles as The New Warsaw Trio, Camerata Ouartet and most of all, with the Concerto Avenna Soloists. He also interpreted chamber music with eminent Polish pianists: Edward Wolanin, Janusz Olejniczak, Waldemar Malicki and Marek Drewnowski. With Camerata Ouartet, the harpsichord player Marek Toporowski and the violinist Robert Kabara they recorded in 1997 an audiophile CD with classical music entitled The Four Golden Seasons, which won the Fryderyk 1998 Award of the Polish music record industry. In 1993, Adam Bogacki won a competition for the post of first solo bassist in the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra – Warsaw. Simultaneously he worked with such orchestras as Sinfonia Varsovia, the Polish Chamber Philharmonic in Gdansk and Menuhin Festival Orchestra conducted by Sir J. Menuhin. At present, Adam Bogacki holds the position of lecturer in the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw. He has been granted the Minister and the 1st Class Vice-Chancellors Award of the
Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw 2003. Adam Bogacki performs solo on a modern Italian instrument mode by Mario Lazzarini. He organizes and directs the National Double Bass Encounters in Lodz and Double Bass Competition Tadeusz Pelczar memory – Warsaw.
