Graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice in:
- the theory of music (The Composition, Conducting and Theory of Music Faculty)
- the piano (The Instrumental Faculty) from professor Czesław Stańczyk’s class.
At present she is professor of Music Academy in Katowice.
She is one of the laureates of Chamber Music Competition in Łódź, and has taken part in many composition and piano courses and has performed both nationally and internationally.
She has participated in international contemporary music festivals such as: Warsaw Autumn, Musica Polonica Nova in Wrocław, New Waves in Gdańsk, The Latest Contemporary Polish Music - Festival of Premieres in Katowice, Krakow Composer's Days, Poznań Music Spring, Silesian Contemporary Music Days in Katowice and many others. She has given premieres of contemporary pieces by many Polish composers such as Z. Bargielski, E. Bogusławski, W. Cienciała, M. Cynk, M. Dubaj, A. Dziadek, R. Gabryś, P. Grella-Możejko, D. Jaskot, J. Kornowicz, J. Kowalska-Lasoń, P. Moss, K. Moszumańska-Nazar, G. Pstrokońska-Nawratil, P. Radko, B. Schaeffer, M. Stachowski, A. Zawadzka-Gołosz, J. Zdechlikiewicz. She has recorded for radio and television and also CD's (pieces by Aleksander Scriabin, Bolesława Szabelski, Juliusza Łuciuk, Edward Bogusławski, Andrzej Dziadek, Jacek Glenc, Aleksandra Garbal, Małgorzata Kaniowska, Przemysław Szczotka, the XX century Waltzes, The contemporary music of Silesian composers for 2 pianists ).
She is often the Juror at children's piano competitions.
She has been occupied with the popularization of contemporary music having conducted workshops and courses for students and teachers alike. She is also the author of a published theoretical works on performance difficulties of music of the XX century.
Piotr Kopietz - musician (accordion, bandoneón, accordina), arranger and composer; a graduate of the Frederic Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw in the accordion class (2008). He honed his skills while studying at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz in Austria (class of Professor Janne Rättyä) and also by participating in many master classes.
He also completed postgraduate studies in the field of cultural management at the Faculty of Management (University of Warsaw).
He is among a few musicians in Poland playing the national instrument of Argentina: bandoneón, and extremely rare instrument: the French accordina.
He is a winner of numerous Polish and international music competitions. He performs solo, with chamber music ensembles and accompanied by symphony orchestras in Poland and abroad.
As a session musician, her records classical and popular music for radio, television, theatre and film.
Graduated from prof. Józef Stompel piano class as well as from prof. Maria Szwajger-Kułakowska and prof. Urszula Stańczyk chamber music classes at Academy of Music in Katowice. At present he is academic teacher in both the home Academy and The Music School in Katowice.
He participated in master piano and chamber music courses under the guidance of Barbara Halska, Ryszard Bakst, Rudolf Buchbinder, Konrad Richter and many others.
He has been granted a Ministry of Art and Culture Scholarship in 1986/1987. He is the laureate of the competitions for the art scholarships by Frederic Chopin Society in Warsaw in 1985 and 1986, Chamber Contemporary Music Competition in Łódź (1986) and The Youth Meetings Festival in Augustów (1985).
As soloist and chamber musician he performed concerts in Poland and abroad in Brasil, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Pakistan, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine.
He took part in many music festivals such as Warsaw Autumn, Festival of First Performances in Katowice, Musica Polonica Nova in Wrocław, World Double Bass Festivals in Wrocław, Saxophone Festivals in Szczecin, Chantarelle Festival in Gołuchów, Sacrum Non Profanum in Trzęsacz and gave lots of premières of the contemporary works, recording also for Polish TV and Radio. He released CDs with double-bass player Irena Olkiewicz: Meditation of Thais with pianist Gabriela Szendzielorz: The contemporary music of Silesian composers for 2 pianists and also with flute player Agata Kielar-Dlugosz: Vive la Paris!

He is invited to accompany the piano during workshops and master courses with many excellent musicians.
